Averaged 13 mpg and uncountable overtakes. I also never realized how large my tires (and exhaust tips) were.

Not the B9, the more powerful boring looking one.

My Tribeca, the least loved Subaru ever built (I do happen to love mine)

(FYI - they dropped the B9 name but it was still the same car)

Haha yeah, I meant it was the facelifted one (different front and rear and more power)

I still can't fathom 13 mpg, even if thats uk gallons thats still poor. I mean I just filled up at 13 mpg this morning

I think it is the result of my aggressive driving, 27% ethanol in Brazilian gas and the poor mpg that is normal to all Tribecas.

e27 is your biggest problem I would guess.

13 mpg would be an improvement for my Hemi Grand Cherokee at the moment.

(I blame it on the single-digit temps, and winter blend E10.)

Im on winter blend e10, and its been single digit...hmm, I guess it just gets 13. 13 city, 13 highway, 13 loaded, 13 empty, cold, hot, etc.

My mileage is definitely affected by temperature. I actually got it up to almost 18 mpg on one tank of pretty much all highway driving and unseasonably warm temps for December. But on subsequent highway trips at lower temps it was more like 15-16 mpg. Around town before the temps dropped I was doing about 13 mpg and now it's more like 11.

This is with fresh EGR valve, spark plugs, air filter, and a couple bottles of injector cleaner ran through it. So...that's just the mileage.

the only thing that affects my mileage is wind. even offroad going no faster than 15 mph average for 3 days I still got 12.5
